Bouncy, Bouncy, Bouncy

And they say white men (ok, boys) can't jump...

6 Months!

WHAT? My little man is 6 months old? I can't believe it has been half of a year already. However, even though he is getting older, he is still my little peanut. 6 month stats are 14 pounds, 12 ounces (officially doubled his birth weight!) and 26 1/2 inches. He also had a great check-up with Dr. Lee, who, of course, thinks he is the cutest baby she has ever seen. OK, she didn't outright say that, but I can tell she was thinking it. :) In the coming months we can look forward to more rolling around, hopefully some cruising, and starting finger foods. Yay!

Sitting!

Andrew is officially a sitter! YAY! He has been trying to sit for so long, and he can finally do it. :) Now, if only he could get himself up from lying down, he would be a very happy camper...

Ride 'em Cowboy!!

Remember the horse that Andrew got for Christmas from his grandma?? Well, he finally fits on it, and he loves it! Especially when his daddy sigs the song to go along with it... "He's cowboy, on a bouncy horse he rides, he wanted, dead or alive...". :)

5 Months!

Our little Boo-Boo Bear is 5 months old! Seriously, how did that happen?? Andrew can do so many new things lately. He sits up on his own (well, for a minute or so at the most), grabs for toys, puts EVERYTHING in his mouth, and has starting eating vegetables (even green beans!). As for proof that he eats everything, notice the drool spot on the "5 month" sign just to the right of the 5. Hehe. Andrew does't have a 5 month doctor appointment, so we had to use Nana's scale to get an unofficial weight - 15 pounds! WOW! I guess all of those veggies and oatmeal are doing him some good. :)

He Likes It!

One week later and a change from rice to oatmeal, and what we have is a completely different Andrew. Now, he can't get his cereal into his mouth fast enough. He is only eating oatmeal at this point, but we are hoping to start some veggies in the next few weeks. I hope he likes those just as much as this! Notice the legs kicking as he eats. :)

First Attempt at Cereal = FAIL

Andrew tried cereal for the first time this past week. Needless to say, it did not go well... we will have to give it another try this week. Wish us luck!
